A Perfect Start for The Eagle
In the Asean Football Federation’s (AFF) Suzuki Cup Tournament 2010 which is now still taking place, Indonesia National Football team declared its position with a back-to-back winning.
In the opening match between Indonesia and Malaysia at Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta on Wednesday evening, Indonesia crushed Malaysia 5-1 In the Group A tie.
Malaysia opened the scoring through Norshahrul Idlan Talaha in the 17th minute.
Shocked by the early Malaysian goal, Indonesia went on the offensive and equalised when Mohd Asraruddin Putra Omar deflected a shot past Malaysian goalkeeper Mohd Sharbinee Allawee Ramli for an own goal four minutes later.
The Indonesians continued their onslaught, putting another four goals past Mohd Sharbinee with Cristian Gonzales scoring in the 32nd minute, Muhammad Ridwan (51st), Arif Suyono (75th) and Irfan Haarys Bachdim (91st).

After beating Malaysia, our football team maintained their perfect start to the AFF Suzuki Cup with a 6-0 rout of minnows Laos.
The tournament co-hosts opened the scoring just before the half-hour when Firman Utina converted a penalty.

Muhammad Ridwan made it 2-0 in the 34th minute before Utina grabbed his second five minutes into the second half.

The goals continued to come as Irfan Harrys Bachdim struck just after the hour and late strikes from Arif Suyono and Oktovianus Maniani wrapped up the scoring.

The winning put Indonesia on the top Group A with six points from two games, while Thailand are second in the standings after drawing 0-0 with Malaysia.
